1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Telezhka, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) and that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose device you are pairing with the Telezhka Kid App. You consent to these Terms on your own behalf and on behalf of your child.

2. Description of Service

Telezhka is a parental control and communication tool. It allows parents to manage and monitor a safe contact whitelist for their child's messaging experience. The Service consists of:

• Telezhka Parent App: A dashboard for parents to approve contacts, receive activity alerts, and manage device sessions.
• Telezhka Kid App: A messaging interface for children that only displays and allows communication with parent-approved contacts.

3. Telegram API & Third-Party Terms

Crucial Disclaimer: Telezhka is an independent application built using the Telegram API. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Telegram Messenger Inc.

• All messages, media, and calls made through the Telezhka Kid App are transmitted directly through Telegram's infrastructure.
• By using Telezhka, you and your child must also comply with Telegram’s Terms of Service.
• Telezhka does not store, intercept, or have access to the content of the messages or media sent by or to your child. We only manage the control plane (the list of who is allowed to communicate).
• We are not responsible for any changes Telegram makes to its API that may affect the functionality of Telezhka.

4. Account Registration & Parental Responsibility

As the parent or legal guardian utilizing the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for accurately configuring the whitelist of approved contacts for your child.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Parent App login credentials.
• While Telezhka is designed to filter out unapproved contacts within the Telezhka Kid App, we do not guarantee that children cannot bypass these controls by installing other applications (including the official Telegram app) on their device. You are responsible for using OS-level parental controls (such as Apple Screen Time or Google Family Link) to secure the device.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Service (such as an expanded contact limit or co-parenting features) may require a paid subscription ("Premium Features").

• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account (managed via RevenueCat).
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store or Google Play. Deleting the Telezhka app does not cancel your subscription.
• Refunds: All payments are handled by Apple or Google and are subject to their respective refund policies. Telezhka cannot issue refunds directly.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to allow your child to:

• Use the Service for any illegal, abusive, or harassing activities.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or bypass the parental controls established by the Service.
• Use the Service to transmit spam, malware, or prohibited content.
• Impersonate any person or entity when setting up contacts or accounts.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Use at Your Own Risk: The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Telezhka disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Telezhka shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service, including the Telegram API infrastructure.
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by utilizing the "Delete Account" feature within the Parent App, which will immediately sever the connection to your child's device and delete your settings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia and the European Union, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Riga, Latvia.
